Premium Assisted Living
The Haven Home is a premium residential assisted living home, located in Douglas County, Colorado. Our home is ranch style with 8 spacious bedrooms and 8 bathrooms accessible for wheelchair and walkers with low barrier shower entrances. The community is nestled in the rural area of Lone Tree, conveniently located between Parker, Castle Rock, and Highlands Ranch on a large 5-acre parcel with tranquil views of the Rocky Mountains.
Our Story
In 2020, the landscape of elder care changed. Residents in assisted living were confined to their rooms isolated without families and friends at their bedside due to the pandemic.
The Haven Home founders, Lori Krauter and Sierra Hopp, best friends, both Speech Language Pathologists, along with their spouses Ryan Krauter and Michael Hopp wanted to change the face of senior care by providing quality housing. We restore dignity to senior citizens by providing this necessary service to the community.
Our family shares a vision to create a home for seniors that isn’t currently being offered.

Lori has over a decade of experience
working with the elderly, including skilled nursing, assisted living and home health. As our founder and acting administrator, Lori has worked in
the healthcare field specializing in swallowing and cognitive therapy as a Speech Language Pathologist. Her time in skilled nursing included Director of Rehabilitation where she managed the therapy team in providing rehab services. Lori has seen firsthand the poor quality of care available to senior citizens. As a result, she is passionate about offering a higher level experience.
Sierra Hopp, M.A. CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Co-Founder, Placement Manager
Sierra has over 13 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist working in hospital and acute settings. She has managed a team of SLP clinicians through the hiring and onboarding process and is in charge of complying with all federal and state standards. She has expertise in providing therapy to clientele in a manner that recognize their individual needs.Sierra is passionate about the geriatric population and providing an essential service to the community. Her focus is creating an assisted living environment with smaller caregiver to patient ratios and quality food.
Fostering Independence
The Haven Home offers premium care that promotes seniors’ wellness in a place they can thrive. Seniors don’t deserve to end up in a big box facility; susceptible to risks of isolation, loneliness, falls and exposure to viruses. Our goal is to promote socialization through meaningful interactions in a setting that allows seniors to prosper. Independence will be fostered rather than dependence, for as long as possible.
